What if I have an extra appliance or space that I want cleaned but it’s not listed? 

Totally feel free to reach out and ask about adding it on! We won’t be able to guarantee that we can supply that service for you but we are willing to discuss and potentially give a quote. 

Do you have laundry services?

We do not offer laundry services. We will gladly change bedding and remake beds, but do not have laundering available.

Do I need to “pre-clean”?

We do ask that you please tidy the spaces you plan to have professionally cleaned. While minimal organizing and straightening of items is acceptable, areas should not be in a state that requires large amounts of time to prep before even getting to the cleaning. 

Doing this will ensure that the time you have paid for is being used most efficiently to make your home sparkle and shine!

What are the parameters regarding Joyful Hands Cleaning Services?

While we desire to be as accommodating as possible, some jobs are beyond our general cleaning services. Here is a list of tasks we do not offer and some restrictions regarding health and safety. 

• We are unable to move larger furniture and appliances as it can lead to physical injury. Smaller couches and armchairs will be moved to clean under but if you require a sectional couch or other large couches, beds, kitchen appliances, etc. to be moved, please do so before we arrive and we are happy to clean under these items for you, upon request. 

• We do not provide services to household areas that require a ladder or step stool higher than two feet. This will generally discount the tops of kitchen cupboards, light fixtures, and some higher bookshelves or window casings.

• We do not offer services for pet waste clean up (this includes litter boxes), bodily fluids, or post-fumigation. If any of these substances is discovered upon arrival for the clean, the area will not be touched and you will still be charged the full price quoted for the clean. 

• We do not have the equipment necessary for carpet cleaning.

• We do not clean homes with smoking in them or heavy mold infestations. The hazards of secondhand smoke and mold in regards to air quality is a health risk we are not willing to take.
